Loriann Giordano
My name is LoriAnn Giordano. I am the Early Childhood Director at Good Shepherd Catholic Academy. Previously, I taught the Universal Pre-K program at Good Shepherd for five years. Prior to this, I taught 5 th grade Gifted & Talented for the Department of Education for ten years.
I am a former graduate of Good Shepherd and have lived in Marine Park my entire life. I have three sons , Nicholas, Salvatore and Dominick. In the blink of an eye, I now have two in high school. My youngest attends Good Shepherd and truly loves it here. It’s an honor for me to raise my three sons to become respectful, kind young men who follow their dreams and passions. Just as with my students, I instill a love of learning, the importance of hard-work, commitment and academic perseverance to achieve your goals.
Teaching has always been more than my career, it’s a true passion where I can inspire and help children grow not only academically but emotionally. Helping a child build self-esteem and believe in themselves and their ability to learn is one of the greatest rewards of life. I am truly blessed to work in such a wonderful place .
