I was born and raised in Brooklyn. I graduated from Saint Anselm grammar school, and attended Saint Saviour and OLPH high school. I later graduated from The College of Staten Island with a degree in English Writing and Italian. 

It is my honor and pleasure to be the 8th-grade homeroom/ Religion teacher. I get to prepare my students for the Sacrament of Confirmation, and I get to prepare them for high school(graduation). I have been working at Good Shepherd Catholic Academy for 26 years. I chose teaching as my profession not only because I love to instruct and make a difference, but because I love to work with so many different personalities/ characters at so many different levels.

I enjoy teaching ELA/Reading to the 7th and 8th grade because I love to open my student’s minds. I also try to teach my students to think critically, and at the same try to make personal life connections every time they read a new novel, short story or piece of poetry.
